What’s new in LinqCommerce 3.2?

  • Please download the LC32Installer. If that doesn't work, take the source code on the source code page. If you're using LinqCommerce on your website, send me an e-mail and I'll list your website as a sample site. Please also write some reviews on the open source product.

The following features have been added:
  • New Image Gallery Control using client side development
  • Image uploading and editing improvements
  • CSS enhancements
  • New configuration properties for turning off product recommendations, digital products, and inventory
  • Digital Product Support
  • Tables renamed to lc_ table name to better distinguish them
  • New tables added for country and state (admin interface to come soon)
  • Quantity is adjustable through product details page only. Cart no longer updates quantity
  • Check out documentation page for links to two new videos

Bug Fixes:
  • When user checks out on your website, his or her shipping and billing info is kept inside of the database.

Would you like other features? Are you willing to help add them to LinqCommerce? If so, feel free to contact me. Contributors for software docs, database tables, beta testers and other developers are always welcome.

Reviews for this release

On windows 7, I had problems just launching the installer, even when it prompted for admin access. What worked for me: 1. Launch command prompt as administrator 2. Navigate to the dir with the installer 3. Execute the installer from the command line

Actually this is a well desigened application. But it is somehow tricky without a well done documentation. I've had few issues when trying to install. But after a successful installation, it is easy to see it was well constructed..

Installed fine on Win 7, although Run As Admin disappears on .msi files (on my system anyway) so had to run it from a command prompt window (with Admin rights), then it installed fine. You may have to set up the new AppPool account assigned to the Virtual Directory with logon to the DB - all standard stuff but a bit different in Vista and Win 7.
